The Insight Collective
About The Insight Collective
An independent organization founded by Tom Rieger, Jason Greer, and Brad Kaufman, bringing organizational, workforce, and technology perspectives to how AI changes decisions, work, risk, and performance.
Our charter
The Insight Collective examines why AI initiatives succeed, stall, or create unintended consequences.
We bring together organizational, workforce, and technology perspectives because AI cannot be understood through any one of them alone. Our purpose is to help leaders make better decisions about where AI belongs, how it changes work, and what must be true for it to produce meaningful results.
We challenge narrow technical explanations, vendor-led answers, and organizational shortcuts. Through advisory work, research, and open conversation, we examine AI as part of a connected operating system involving people, processes, incentives, information, leadership, and technology.
Why a collective
AI implementation crosses boundaries that organizations usually manage separately. Technology teams focus on models and platforms. Business leaders focus on outcomes and investment. Workforce leaders focus on jobs, trust, capability, and employee consequences. Each view is necessary, and none is sufficient on its own.
The Insight Collective brings those views into the same analysis. We use disagreement as evidence, examine the work behind the formal process, and test claims against measurable outcomes rather than treating implementation activity as progress.

Where is your AI initiative breaking down?
The Collective works with leaders responsible for AI value, operational performance, workforce impact, or program risk. We are most useful when an initiative looks technically plausible but remains difficult to adopt, scale, govern, or trust.
